Ice Diving Specialty Class
Ever wonder what it’s like diving beneath a crystal ceiling? It’s definitely like scuba diving on another planet. Learn how to cut a triangular dive hole in the ice with an auger and chainsaw, remove the ice using ice screws and ropes, tender the line for your dive buddies and dive beneath the ice! Your body will stay warm and dry in a drysuit with dry gloves. Urban Manta had heated vests for sale and for rent.
Your dive buddies on the surface will communicate with you via line signals to make
sure the dive goes smoothly and the next buddy team will be tethered together ready to serve as rescue divers. Warm water will be provided on the surface to defrost your hands and gear.
